MEET THE FOUNDER

As it's founder Golf Proformance Institute holds a special place in my heart. It embodies my personal journey, and the passion that drove me to overcome adversity and create something truly special.

I was not born into golf, nor did I have an immediate connection to the sport. It was only when I turned thirty that I discovered the challenge and allure of the game, and it quickly became a part of who I am. But just as I was beginning to find my rhythm, I was hit with a devastating diagnosis - a degenerative bone condition that threatened my ability to play. At first, I was overwhelmed how could I pursue my newfound passion when my body was working against me, but as I began to navigate the realities of my condition, this was not the only obstacle I faced. Finding a physical therapist and chiropractor who could effectively treat my condition, and a golf instructor who could work with me considering my limitations, proved to be a challenge.

Moreover, practicing in the harsh weather conditions in Las Vegas and constantly traveling between different providers added to the difficulty. Despite these challenges, I committed myself to finding a way forward and refused to give up on the game that has brought me so much joy, and it was during these trying times that the vision for Golf Proformance Institute began to take shape - a facility that could encompass all of my golf needs under one roof.

I wanted to create a space where golfers could find support and inspiration, where they could receive the instruction and care they need to thrive. Golf Proformance Institute is not just any ordinary facility, It's a one-stop-shop for all your golf needs, whether you're seeking physical therapy or golf instruction, you'll find it all here, under one roof. No more braving the elements or traveling to different locations to receive the care and instruction you need.

Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner just starting out, our facility caters to golfers of all abilities. The road to building Golf Proformance Institute was long and challenging, but I never lost sight of my vision. I poured my heart and soul into every detail of the institute, I am committed to ensuring that every member of our community feels seen, heard, and valued. At GPI we want to help every golfer find the resilience and determination within themselves to overcome any obstacle.

My hope is that Golf Proformance Institute will be more than just a place to play golf - it will be a sanctuary for golfers of all abilities, a place where we can come together to support and inspire one another. Chiropractor Physician

Dr. Jon Petrick, DC

Dr. Jon Petrick is a trailblazer in the field of self-sustainable living and a highly sought-after international speaker. A leading authority in a myriad of treatment techniques such as Active Release Technique (ART), One to Zero (OTZ), and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), he stands as the only Stress Relief Method (SRM) provider on the West Coast.

Known for his extensive work with professional athletes, Dr. Petrick has been a fixture on FOX Sports' "The Ultimate Fighter" reality TV show for a decade. He has also collaborated with several professional sports teams and organizations, including a seven-year stint with the Toronto Blue Jays and Las Vegas 51s.

His expertise has landed him roles as an on-air injury specialist and UFC expert for NBC Sports' "Joe Fan" radio show and appearances on the UFC Embedded TV show with champions like Anthony Pettis and T.J. Dillashaw. Dr. Petrick's acclaim extends beyond borders; his advanced treatment protocols have been adopted by practicing and graduate-level doctors globally.

Dr. Victor R. Bruce

Originating from Ghana, Dr. Bruce's outstanding undergraduate performance earned him a scholarship to study Biochemistry at the University of London/Middlesex Hospital Medical School. He later secured his MD from the University of Ghana Medical School and undertook diverse internship rotations at Accra's Korlebu Teaching Hospital.

In 1993, Dr. Bruce and his family moved to the U.S. where he volunteered at George Washington University Hospital's research lab in Washington DC and simultaneously prepared for his medical exams.

By 1994, he joined a 4-year residency in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics at the Beth Israel/Mount Sinai system in Newark, New Jersey, culminating in his role as Chief Resident.

Golf Instructor

Kevin Oh

Kevin Oh is a renowned golf instructor with an extensive and impressive background in golf. Fluent in both English and Korean, Kevin leverages his bilingual skills to effectively communicate and teach a diverse range of students.

Kevin's professional golf career includes playing on the Korean PGA TOUR and ASIAN TOUR from 2003 to 2007. He's also competed in various Mini tours and PGA Q-school, demonstrating a strong commitment to his craft.

Kevin is known for his personalized approach to teaching, he focuses on individual needs and skill levels, catering to both beginners and more experienced players. His deep understanding of golf's technical aspects, combined with his ability to inspire and motivate, has made him a sought-after coach in the golf community.

Certified Chiropractor Assistant

Paulina Lopez

Paulina Lopez pursued her degree in Psychology from the College of the Canyons. Following her academic endeavors, she relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, alongside her fiancé and child.

Inspired by the holistic approach to health, Paulina obtained her certification as a Chiropractic Assistant. With nearly half a decade in the medical sector, she is particularly passionate about patient advocacy and care.

Paulina believes in forging a deep and meaningful rapport with the patients she interacts with, ensuring they receive the utmost quality of care.

At GPI, her role is multi-faceted. She assists with patient stretching and patterning, conducts the Functional Movement Screening, and provides guidance on foundational exercises.

Certified Chiropractor Assistant

Dylan Daugherty

At the heart of Golf Proformance Institute is Dylan Daugherty, a Chiropractic Assistant dedicated to ensuring seamless operations and patient care.

Dylan's primary responsibilities involve assisting the lead chiropractor, managing schedules, and guiding patients through their stretching and patterning exercises. His foremost ambition is to provide patients with utmost comfort during their healing journey, using his unique touch of humor and positivity to uplift their spirits.

When reflecting on his passion for his profession and life's contentment, Dylan often quotes, "Gratitude In life." He firmly believes that it's his gratitude that fosters his happiness, not the other way around.

The sheer joy he derives from assisting individuals on their healing path is immeasurable. Every day, he expresses profound gratitude for the gift of life, the opportunity to step out into the world, and the privilege to make a tangible difference in someone's life journey

Fabiola Capano

Graduating with distinction, Fabiola achieved her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University. Her academic journey continued at Touro University Nevada, where she secured her Master of Physician Assistant Studies.

Following her academic pursuits, Fabiola immersed herself in pain management for three transformative years. It was during this phase that she discovered her profound passion for assisting those grappling with chronic pain. Committed to excellence, she not only provides top-tier care but also prioritizes educating her patients about their health.

Fabiola's insights steered her towards the innovative world of regenerative medicine. She has since delved deep into avant-garde treatments like PRP and stem cell therapies. Concurrently, she champions the prevention of chronic ailments by underscoring the criticality of diet and exercise in upholding health and vitality.
